Established in 2003, KanCan’s brand name was inspired by the Cancan dance, a high-energy, physically demanding dance. We chose the name to reflect and capture the sense of positivity and the high energy emitted from the dance. We want people to not only feel comfortable with the fit but also to feel comfortable with a wide range of movement as they live their daily lives. We want to create styles that can be enjoyed by all body types and also allow the wearers to do anything and everything with no limits. We are grateful to have accomplished both goals and gained much appreciation from customers who love KanCan jeans. We strive to provide comfort and high energy to our Kancan wearers in their daily lives and activities.

 
E-commerce

Responsibilities
•    follow up Web, FG, FR ONLINE ORDERS
•    Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
•    Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
•    Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
•    Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

Skills Needed:
•    Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
•    Relationship management skills and openness to feedback


Sales Representative

Responsibilities
• Ability to build relationships with boutiques, companies, vendors, and more
• Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

Skills Needed:
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback


Import Designer

Skills Needed:
•    3 years minimum import design experience
•    Knowledge of fabric, trims, quality and developments
•    Forecast fashion trends and market research
•    Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
 
 
Tradeshow Coordinator
 
Responsibilities:
•    Must be able to attend trade shows
•    Brainstorm and implement event plans and concepts for in-person events
•    Manage all aspects of assigned event projects
•    Lead project team on-site and in the weeks/months leading to the event
•    Create and maintain event timelines and project management tools
•    Develop and manage event budgets and finances, including supplier quotes and project invoices
•    Negotiate venue and vendor contracts
•    Research event platforms and emerging technologies
•    Draft staffing plans and on-the-ground schedules for event days
 
Skills Needed:
•    A minimum of 3 years of experience as a trade show coordinator or similar
•    Proactive work ethic: thinking outside the box to expand and set new sales goals
•    Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
•    An entrepreneurial spirit to continually raise the bar with fresh ideas and solutions
•    Open, authentic communication style to be an effective team member
 

Production Coordinator

Responsibilities
•    Issue POs to contractors
•    Physically review and approve smocking samples as well as sewing templates to measurement and quality standards
•    Create and maintain internal Excel WIPs throughout the Pre-Production process
•    Assist in gathering samples as needed. Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure that samples are delivered by the required due date
•    Work cross-functionally with Designers, Sewers, Pattern Makers, and Production Team as needed
•    Update Excel WIP and publish via email when changes occur

Skills Needed:
•    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, flexible in changing direction as needed
•    Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, and Outlook
•    Candidate must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency
•    Candidate must be a team player, willing and able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
 
Plus skill (not must)
•    Knowledge of garment construction including points of measurement and sewing techniques
•    Knowledge of N41
